Design-Name: "Dunkle Seite".

Was ist eigentlichh RSS?

Wendet Euch dafür einfach per PN an mich.

So, dann lasst Euch mal ordentlich füttern:

Tom Hardy's Real Name Isn't Tom, but We Understand Why He Goes by It

It's hard to imagine Tom Hardy as anyone but himself. Whether he's pouting on MySpace or dropping a mixtape, the authentic actor has always been unapologetic in his identity. . . but there is that bit about his real name.

The Peaky Blinders star actually goes by his middle name, and his birth name is Edward Thomas Hardy. Imagine if he went by Ed Hardy? It certainly has a nice ring to it, but to us, he will always be Tom. Fortunately enough, Tom will take on his real name when he plays Eddie Brock in the upcoming Venom, which hits cinemas on Oct. 5.

Zodiac Signs Who Make Great Mums, Ranked From BEST to WORST

This article written by Christine Schoenwald was originally featured on one of our favourite sites: YourTango.

How good of a mum are you?

Do you know the zodiac signs who make the best mums? Sure, it's fun to do a ranking, but the truth is that every sign and every mum has their own unique style of parenting and their own special abilities at it. And even your horoscope can point out the best qualities you have for parenting.

When I was in college, there was another student whose mum still not only made her lunch but put positive notes in it such as "I love you" and "I know you'll succeed." I envied that woman for having such a loving and thoughtful mum. My mum stressed things like independence and taking care of oneself - still valuable tools to learn but without the emotional tie-in.

I respect my friends who are mums. They work hard to make sure to raise their kids right. Many of them are single mums and even though they seem to have double the work, they're doing a great job as their children know that their mums have their back and they'll do anything for them.

Mums need to be so many things for their kids: an advocate, a supporter, a teacher, a caregiver, a driver, and a parent.

Some mums are "cool" and others are more traditional and try to instill those traditional values in their children. I know mums who home school and others who spend hours and hours searching for the best school for their children. From what I can tell, being a parent is exhausting, and as rewarding as they seem to believe parenting is, I know there are moments where the parents need a break.

As a parent, you need to provide shelter, food, love, and opportunities for growth. It's a tough job and not everybody is good at handling all the responsibility of being a mum.

But some zodiac signs seem a little more qualified for motherhood than others. Here are the zodiac signs who make the best mums, ranked from best to worst.

  1. PISCES (19 February - 20 March)

Pisces instill an appreciation of the arts in their children and they encourage their kids to be creative. A Pisces mum's kids will be sensitive, imaginative, and will learn to treat other people with kindness and compassion. Pisces mums will hand down a love of nature, a sense of pride in helping others, and an independent spirit.

The Pisces mum may not know how to teach their children to make their dreams a reality but they will support them the whole way as their children try to figure it out for themselves.

  2. ARIES (21 March - 19 April)

Aries mums keep the schedules of their children full of music lessons, sports, hobbies, social activities, and camps. Meanwhile, the Aries mum has a full schedule herself. She wants her children to be adventuresome and to not shy away from trying new things. She encourages them to face all challenges head-on and to fight for what they believe in.

She is occasionally blunt but almost immediately regrets it. Aries mums can be pushy with their kids and sometimes need to be able to listen and really hear what her child wants or doesn't want to do.

  3. GEMINI (21 May - 20 June)

Gemini mums can talk about anything with their kids - they often have the "sex" talk very early on. Gemini mums don't have any secrets from their children. Her kids have great communication skills and are very aware of what's happening in the world around them.

One of the things that make a Gemini mum so unique is her ability to understand her kids regardless of their gender or their age. Gemini mums give the best parties and have the best play dates (because they seem like a party).

  4. CAPRICORN (22 December - 19 January)

Capricorn mums will fight to the death for their kids. They are fiercely loyal and will always stand up for them. These mums do not mess around and take their parenting very seriously. They want to instill a good work ethic in their kids and for them to have discipline and focus.

You can be sure if their kids get an allowance, they earn it by doing chores and taking care of their siblings. Capricorn mums are most often working mums and sometimes have to be reminded to take some time for themselves, and not devote every spare minute to their family.

  5. TAURUS (20 April - 20 May)

Taurus mums are incredibly patient - so much so that they sometimes come off as saintly. But make no mistake, Taurus mums are very real and down to earth. Taurus mums can be stubborn which can lead to issues when her kids get to the teenage years. If you've ever witnessed a stand-off between a Taurus mum and her teen, you know it's not pretty.

A Taurus mum makes sure that her kids have an appreciation of beauty and nature. Since a Taurus mum may be prone to overindulgence with food and spending, she needs to watch that she doesn't overfeed her kid or that they don't know the value of a dollar.

  6. LIBRA (23 September - 22 October)

Libras are great mums because they're so balanced and peaceful. They encourage harmony in the home and when there's discord between siblings, she's able to see each one's perspective in an argument and help the participants to find neutral ground.

Libra mums don't love having to be the disciplinarian and would rather be a friend than a parent but usually wait to be friends with their kids until they've grown up. The most important things that a Libra mum teaches her kids are how to share, how to feel compassion for others, and how to be good friends.

  7. CANCER (21 June - 22 July)

A Cancer mum is protective and nurturing. In fact, kids with a Cancer mum know that they're truly loved and cared for. A Cancer mum is always there to listen to her child and help them to feel better. She wants her home to be a place of love and comfort and for her kids to be able to share anything with her.

When all else fails, a Cancer mum will make her child's favourite cookies or snack just so they know how adored they are. She's also great at being able to help develop a child's creativity and isn't shy about sharing her child's genius with the world.

  8. SAGITTARIUS (22 November - 21 December)

Sagittarius mums have huge hearts and want to share the world with their kids. They very likely start travelling with them at an early age. They inject a thirst for knowledge and a strong sense of independence in their children, as well as a wicked sense of humour.

Sagittarians make for fun mums and she knows that childhood is brief, so she wants her kids to enjoy every moment of it. A Sagittarius mum can be impulsive - one minute she's in the carpool lane making her way to drop-off, the next she's declaring that it's a beach day instead. She may not have as many rules as many of the other mums because she wants her kids to be their own people, not a carbon copy of her.

Whatever is broken, the Virgo mum is going to do her best to fix it, whether it's a toy or a broken heart. She has high expectations for her children and can be critical but she still loves them deeply, even when they fail her.

She's the queen of multitasking as she parents, works, volunteers, and still keeps a very clean and orderly home. She wants her kids to have discipline and to not give up when things get hard. A Virgo mum has perfectionist leanings and can ride her kids too hard if she's not careful.

The Aquarian mum will be sure to encourage imagination and experimentation in her kids. However, she will have very little patience for meltdowns and any kind of emotional display. 12. LEO (23 July - 22 August)

Leo mum is the most childlike of the mums. She enjoys playing with her kids and giving them generous gifts. She can, however, be self-absorbed and may put her own needs before her children's. Is she having that expensive party because that's what her son or daughter asked for, or is she doing it because it impresses the other mums?

She deeply loves her children but can have narcissistic leanings, thinking of her children as an extension of herself. She would have no qualms flirting with her child's teacher, even if it embarrasses her kid in the process.

5 Popular Types of Intermittent Fasting That Could Help You Lose Weight

So, you want to try intermittent fasting - but you probably didn't know there were five popular ways of going about it. Figuring out which method best fits your needs can be overwhelming, which is why we've broken down each one below to make things simple. But before we dive in, let's first understand what this diet's all about.

Intermittent fasting generally involves limiting your eating window to a certain period of time and fasting the rest of the day. What's the point of this? IF has shown to be an effective weight-loss tool as it restricts your calories and curbs sugar cravings. But shedding pounds is only just the beginning. Other health benefits include lowered risk of diabetes, improved blood sugar levels, better digestion (and less bloat), more energy, and improved focus and mental clarity.

As for its risks, IF is safe as long as you avoid overeating during your feeding windows. However, those with diabetes, congestive heart failure, or cardiac disease and those who are pregnant, underweight, or below the age of 18 should refrain from trying this diet.

Now let's get into all the different ways you can start intermittent fasting.

16:8 or Leangains

This method involves fasting for 16 hours and eating two to three meals during an eight-hour feeding window. An example would be to cut off meals at 8 p.m. until noon the following day.

Who it's ideal for: Someone who typically doesn't have time for breakfast in the mornings.

5:2 or Fast Diet

It requires restricting your calories to 500 per day twice a week. You may eat as you normally do on the other five days and your two diet days don't have to be consecutive.

Who it's ideal for: Someone who's looking for flexibility.

Eat, Stop, Eat

This method involves fasting for 24 hours one or twice a week. No foods are off limits for the rest of the week, and what time you choose to stop eating and start eating the next day is completely up to you.

Who it's ideal for: Someone who only wants to feel like they're dieting for one or two days out of the week.

The Warrior Diet

You fast all day and eat one large meal every night. However, raw fruits and veggies, fresh juice, and a few servings of protein are allowed during the hours you fast.

Who it's ideal for: Someone who already follows a Paleo diet.

Alternate Day Fasting or UpDayDownDay Diet

As its name suggests, this method of IF requires fasting for one day, eating normally the next day, and so forth.

Who it's ideal for: Someone who's willing to go extreme lengths for weight loss.

This X-Ray of a Grape Stuck in a Child's Throat Needs to Be Shared

Although grapes are a healthy snack for little ones, many parents don't realise just how dangerous this fruit can be if it's not cut properly.

Not only should grapes never be served to children uncut, but it's just as important to slice them lengthwise in particular to prevent them from getting lodged in a child's throat, as the width of a grape is the same size as a small child's airway. Most importantly, this warning isn't just for parents of toddlers. Angela Henderson, an Australian blogger, proved this point by sharing an X-ray image of a grape lodged in a 5-year-old's throat, and the image is going viral as a stark reminder to parents.

"Please be mindful that not all kids chew their food, are in a rush at school to get in the playground, etc.," Angela wrote on Facebook. "Please be careful. And when in doubt just cut the damn grapes [and] baby tomatoes."

According to Angela, this little boy had to be operated on under general anesthesia in order to remove the grape. She explained his mom gave permission for the X-ray to be shared in the hopes of raising awareness so no other family makes the same mistake. "He is VERY lucky that part of his airway was open, or else this could have ended badly."

This Is the Exact Baby Blanket That the Royal Family Has Been Using For 69 Years

After giving birth to a sweet son, Kate Middleton and Prince William left the Lindo Wing at St Mary's hospital with their little bundle of joy wrapped in a gorgeous white Nottingham Lace Knitted Baby Shawl (£70) from G. H. Hurt & Son.

The royal family has been using the same company to make its signature baby blankets for decades - 69 years to be exact. And in typical regal fashion, there's a sentimental reason behind the long-standing tradition.

The Queen first used a G. H. Hurt & Son signature blanket in 1948 when she gave birth to Prince Charles. Since then, the royal family has kept the tradition going: Princess Diana used the designer with both Prince William and Prince Harry, and the Duchess of Cambridge has also followed suit with all three of her children.

Just like with the births of George and Charlotte, it's expected that the sales of this particular blanket will go through the roof, so if you're interested in scoring one for your own little one, there's no time like the present!

How a Stranger's Comment Changed the Way I Parent

We'd spent a few hours at the beach during our Spring trip to San Diego when the weather turned and we decided to pack it up and head out. I juggled sandy beach toys and wet towels in my arms and attempted to convince my 2-and-a-half-year-old that it was a good idea to leave the endless playground that is the beach while my husband followed behind with the folding chairs and our crying 4-month-old. As we trudged through the sand, I noticed an older man look at us and heard him comment sweetly to his wife: "Those were the days, weren't they?"

I stopped - not physically, because that would have sent plastic toys flying and my toddler running - but inwardly, and when we got back to the car my voice cracked as I told my husband what I'd heard. There weren't actual tears, though that wouldn't have been too surprising for my sentimental self, but I got emotional thinking about it. These are the days. We're in them, living them. Right. Now.

Related: A Letter to My Unborn Baby: Here's What I Promise You

It was a powerful reminder for me as a mum. Especially as a mum who, at the time, was only four months in with two kids and who'd spent the first eight weeks after my second son's birth wondering how on earth anyone has more than one child and their sanity. It had taken me a while to get into a groove and there were more than a few mornings when I had to force myself to get up to tend to a crying child and even more afternoons when I wondered how early was too early to pour a glass of wine.

Juggling 2-year-old tantrums with nap schedules and never-ending bedtime routines makes for some long days, and when you throw in being responsible for actually feeding the entire family and maintaining the relationship that got you there in the first place, it can be overwhelming.

The grocery shopping and the lunch packing and the endless picking up of toys. The busyness of all the little things starts to drown out the beauty of it all as one big thing. It's easy to lose sight of how magical a time it is when you're in the middle of the everyday, but that man's comment reminded me that the days when our children are little are the days that we'll be nostalgic for once they're calling us for money instead of whining for more Cheerios.

Related: This Is the One Thing Kids Want From Their Parents

In the weeks since, I've made a conscious effort to replay those words and that scene at the beach in my mind. We were sticky with sunscreen, hair tangled from the wind, hands full of stuff, dragging our babies through the sand, and instead of seeing chaos, that man saw us as a beautiful memory of his own young family. We were the highlight reel.

The potty training accidents, the endless snack requests and subsequent spills, the constant fight over the need to actually be buckled into a car seat - these may not be the highlights of each day, but somewhere along with that first baby smile, the hilarious comments only a toddler is capable of making, and the out-of-nowhere hugs that make you want to freeze time, they all combine to make one amazing lifetime of experiences.

The challenge is remembering that the next time your toddler intentionally throws a plastic fire truck at your infant's head after they both refused to nap all day and you just realised there's no food in the house for dinner. Man, these are the days.

The Number of Nannies Kate Middleton Has Might Actually Surprise You

Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their third child, a baby boy, on April 23, officially making them a family of five. The Duchess of Cambridge, who looked gorgeous when she stepped out of the hospital to give the world the first glimpse of her son, is also mum to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Having three kids under the age of 5 means her world just got a lot more hectic. And since every mother knows parenting is exhausting, if and when you can hire help to take some of the stress off your own shoulders, you do it immediately.

If Kate's perfectly coiled hair and stunning red dress she wore just hours after giving birth were any indication of her stress level, we'd say she's pretty set when it comes to having help. While I, like so many other mums, dream of having a team of Mary Poppins-like nannies to help care for my kids so I can actually get stuff done, Kate keeps it simple with one nanny for her three children.

Maria Borrallo has been with the family since 2014, helping care for George when he was just 8 months old. Often easily recognisable thanks to her traditional nanny uniform complete with a brown hat, which is a symbol of honour as a graduate of the prestigious Norland College, Borrallo is the consummate nanny. Besides being passionate about the families she works with, she's also trained in martial arts, antiterrorism techniques, and avoiding the pesky paparazzi.

As their sole nanny, she lives with the family in her own private residence in Kensington Palace and can be frequently seen with the little ones at royal functions. Considering how busy Kate and William's lives are, having a highly skilled and loving nanny makes all the sense in the world.

I Wish Someone Had Told Me: Newborn Baby Girls Can Get Their "Period"

On the second night in the hospital with my newborn girl, I woke up to blood in her diaper. In a sleep-deprived haze, I buzzed the nurse before I had time to fully freak out. She came in and told me and my husband not to fret. It was just her "baby period." The nurse changed the diaper in a flash and was gone one minute later, leaving me alone to wonder: what exactly is a baby period?

"It is fairly common for a newborn girl to pass a little bit of red mucus or red period discharge after she is born."

"It is fairly common for a newborn girl to pass a little bit of red mucus or red period discharge after she is born," explained Monique Regard, MD, pediatric gynecologist at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network. She told me the mini-menstruation typically happens a couple days after birth and should only last a few days. (For my daughter, it was just one diaper.)

"It is caused by the hormones she has been receiving through her mother in the pregnancy and has nothing to do with breastfeeding," explained Dr. Regard. During pregnancy, estrogen builds up in the lining of the uterus in the baby. But after birth, she no longer receives estrogen. "Without hormonal stimulation, the baby has a hormone withdrawal that results in the appearance of a miniature period," she continued.

So should you worry? Nope. Dr. Regard said that if it's fewer than a few teaspoons of discharge over a few days, there is no need to do anything. "If it seems to be more than a few teaspoons or lasts more than a few days, parents should contact their child's pediatrician," she advised.

Since my experience, I've felt obliged to tell every woman I meet about this, especially if they're pregnant and expecting a girl. Plus, I know if this baby period had happened after I left the hospital - which is totally possible - I could have gone down a rabbit hole of anxiety. And there already is enough to worry about as a brand new mom.

Princess Charlotte Gets Prince George's Old Toys, and Middle Children Everywhere Can Relate

Even as a member of the royal family, Princess Charlotte still has to deal with some of the woes of being a middle child. The 3-year-old, who just recently became a big sister to Prince Louis, reportedly receives a lot of hand-me-downs from her older brother, Prince George. According to US Weekly, "A lot of Charlotte's toys are hand-me-downs from George . . . She's got one of his old scooters and [a] motorised Jeep she loves to drive around the patio in."

The sibling sharing isn't entirely uncommon for the family, however. When he was first introduced to the world, Louis wore a bonnet from the same set that Charlotte wore as a baby. More recently, Charlotte borrowed George's cardigan to wear in Louis's first portraits.

So far, Charlotte is reportedly embracing the family's newest addition. US Weekly reported, "She is really enjoying having a younger brother to play with. She's taking her big sister duties very seriously. She won't leave baby Louis's side." Adding: "Charlotte is just like [George]. They have a great bond, and a similar connection is growing between Charlotte and Louis."

Prince Louis Is Already Winning Over Our Hearts, and He's Only 1 Month Old

When Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child on April 23, we couldn't wait to catch a glimpse of the new arrival. The couple's second son, Prince Louis Arthur Charles, was born at 11:01 a.m, and four days later we learned his name, which, like those of his elder siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, honours other members of the royal family.

Louis is the first boy to be born into the family who will not overtake his older sister in the line of succession. That means he is fifth in line for the throne, behind his grandfather Prince Charles, his father Prince William, and his siblings George and Charlotte. This means it's unlikely the prince will ever take the throne, but we still have the fun of seeing him attend royal engagements and participate in royal traditions as he grows up. The first of those? That famous photo call on the steps of the hospital, hours after being born. Remind yourself of that lovely family moment ahead - it's sure to be the first of many!

Curious Why Your Pee Smells Weird Sometimes? This Doctor Explains Why

We're all familiar with what urine smells like - it's not exactly pleasant. After going to the bathroom several times a day for your whole life, you've probably gotten used to what your pee normally smells like. But what about when it smells a little . . . off? Could it signal a major health problem, or just a change in diet? A urologist breaks down what happens when your pee smells differently than normal and what that could mean.

You're Dehydrated

If you've been drinking enough water, your pee should be a light yellow colour or clear. If your body is dehydrated, on the other hand, your pee will be a darker colour - and it will affect the smell, too. "If your urine is dark yellow or tea-coloured, this may mean you need to drink more water," Michael Ingber, MD, board-certified urologist told POPSUGAR. "More concentrated urine can cause a stronger, more potent odor." As soon as you notice your pee getting dark or smelling stronger than usual, that means it's time to drink more water.

You Ate Asparagus

The whole asparagus-making-your-pee smell thing isn't just an old wives' tale; it can actually impact the smell of your urine. However, not everyone experiences this. Dr. Ingber said about 40 percent of the population has a "very strong, classic odour" of urine after eating cooked asparagus. It doesn't signal a problem or anything; you just might want to be wary of this next time you eat a lot of the green veggie.

You Drank Coffee

Just like asparagus, coffee can make your pee smell weird, even though doctors aren't exactly sure why. "Coffee has been reported to change urine odour," Dr. Ingber said. "While there have not been many studies on this topic, I can tell you that anecdotally, my patients who take in a couple of venti dark roasts from Starbucks every day often claim that their urine will have a coffee odour to it."

He added that since caffeine-containing beverages can slightly dehydrate you, it may affect the smell of your pee.

You Have an Infection

Symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI) include having to pee often and a burning sensation when you go to the bathroom. But Dr. Ingber said another symptom of a UTI is foul-smelling urine.

Other vaginal infections, such as vaginal yeast or vaginal bacteria, can also play a role in urine odour. He said to check with your doctor if you notice worse-smelling pee along with vaginal itching or chronic discharge that won't go away.

You're Diabetic

If you have diabetes and your blood sugar isn't properly controlled, sugar could make its way into your urine, leading to sweeter smelling pee. If you haven't been diagnosed with diabetes but notice a sweet smell to your urine, be sure to visit your doctor.

The Queen Hasn't Worn Trousers in Nearly 50 Years - Here's Why She Did

The British royal family is a fashionable bunch, and the most fashionable one of all? Well, Elizabeth II of course. The British Monarch is no stranger to a fashion show, and just like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, she puts a lot of thought into her outfits, meaning there are almost always reasons for why she does (or doesn't) wear certain things. But there's one thing the queen absolutely never chooses for royal engagements: trousers.

The one and only time the queen wore trousers on official duty was during her tour of Canada in 1970 with Prince Philip, nearly 50 years ago. She wore a matte silk trouser suit by designer Ian Thomas in an effort to modernize her look. Clearly, she didn't favour slacks, as she hasn't worn many pairs since. You might have spotted her wearing the staple during leisure time or riding her beloved horses, but she won't wear them on duty. And you certainly wouldn't find her wearing jeans like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

The queen likes to keep her style simple and practical, but she doesn't lack a flair for fashion, particularly when it comes to colours. You'll often see her in a brightly coloured coat with a matching hat, stylish handbag, and her go-to loafers. She chooses this tried-and-tested ensemble so often for one simple reason: so the public can easily recognise her.

3 Holistic Ways to Cure Sleeplessness

Sleep is vital to our existence. The rest we get when we're asleep allows our bodies to rebalance our hormones and recharge mentally as well as physically. When you don't get an adequate amount of sleep, scary things can happen, like lack of focus, a weakened immune system, and susceptibility to stress.
When you suffer from insomnia, not only do you suffer from the effects of lack of sleep, but the frustration of not being able to sleep can also affect your mood. If sleep aids are not on your list of cures for insomnia, Sleep Guru and author of Breathe Better, Sleep Better, Anandi, has a few holistic hacks that'll help cure your sleeplessness.

Put Your Feet Up

Putting your feet up isn't just a comfortable way to relax, according to Anandi. Raising your legs against a wall has a "heavenly rejuvenating power and will bring you back to earth after all that running and rushing."
Getting your feet in the air and legs against the wall might sound a little too fun to be an effective relaxation tool, but it's a pose commonly used in yoga because it can help everything "calm down, including the mind and the nervous system." Known as Viparita Karani by yogis, this pose is commonly said to improve blood circulation, boost the lymphatic system, and be stress and anxiety relieving. Anandi recommends including 10 minutes of this in your bedtime practice.

Turn the Lights Down

As Anandi points out, "the body's sleep hormones respond to light and dark." So, adjusting how much artificial light you're exposed to can help you avoid disrupting your body's internal clock, otherwise known as the circadian rhythm.
As Anandi explains, our internal body clocks work quite simply: "As the light goes down and the evening draws in the darkness, the body's serotonin levels rise and melatonin is released to start the natural sleep cycle."
Although you don't have to completely "unplug", dimming bright lights in your home and limiting how much screen time you get in the evening can help your body better prepare itself for sleep.

Breathe

Taking more notice of how you breath is a huge part of readying your mind and body for sleep. Anandi says, "the moment you start taking longer deeper breaths, the heart rate comes down, the mind settles, and you are more likely to fall asleep."
Taking more meditative breaths by breathing deeply into your diaphragm helps to calm you. If you find it hard to be still and focus on your breathing with the lights on, Anandi advises to practice your meditative breathing "for 15 minutes when you turn the light out" to avoid distractions.

Lili Reinhart Opens Up About Adult Acne, Because We've All Been There

Lili Reinhart, the Riverdale star who moonlights as a damn good Halloween makeup artist, has joked about her relatable bouts with cystic acne in the past, but she just got super personal.

The 21-year-old took to Instagram Stories to share that she's dealt with breakouts for almost 10 years and just had one on her forehead during a day-long photo shoot. Lili copped to having "major self esteem issues" due to the condition, and media scrutiny can make it even worse. While shooting, "I had to put my biggest insecurity on display . . . All I could think about when I was in front of the camera were the pimples on my forehead."

When she's grappling with a lack of confidence, Lili said she texts her mom to talk it out but admitted that "I'm not sure if or when I'll ever be able to accept my skin as it is," though she's hopeful the day will come. In the meantime, Lili called for more openness when it comes to breakouts.

"Maybe if I normalise my broken-out skin, more people . . . including myself . . . will be able to feel okay in their skin," she wrote. To take steps toward this, Lili created a hashtag, #breakoutbuddy, which she urged fans to use while writing or posting about their acne.

Read Lili's super-real Instagram Story, ahead.

Boarding a Long-Haul Flight? Avoid These 8 Common Preflight Mistakes

Everything is in place for your trip. Your bags are packed, reservations are booked, and you scored a stellar deal on a room with ocean views. But the one thing that stands between you and relaxation mode? The hours you still need to spend in the air. So before you board, be sure to check this list of potential mistakes you might be making to avoid some major discomfort at 30,000 feet.

1. Pulling an All-Nighter

There are very few things less fun than travelling with a hangover. But heavy partying aside, some people swear by staying up all night in hopes of sleeping on the flight. While this might sound practical in theory, in reality it usually just throws off your internal body clock even more and fosters jet lag. Dr. Chris Tomshack, CEO and founder of HealthSource Chiropractic, recommends getting a solid night's rest and using all-natural supplements like magnesium to promote relaxation.

2. Loading Up on Salty or Heavy Foods

While a quick fast-food breakfast might sound appealing, eating foods laden with sodium can dehydrate you and cause swelling of the hands and feet. And since air travel already dehydrates your body and interferes with circulation, you now have a double whammy. You'll also want to avoid any foods that could potentially upset your stomach (for obvious reasons!).

3. Counting on the WiFi

You might have grand plans to catch up on a ton of work in the air, but make sure you can still be productive offline. WiFi is usually available on long-haul flights, but sometimes the connection can be really slow or flat-out not work at all.

4. Boozing It Up

Whether to calm flight jitters or in hopes of catching some immediate zzz's in flight, it can be tempting to knock back a couple drinks before your boarding zone is called. But Dr. Gustavo Ferrer, MD, a pulmonologist and author of Cough Cures, warns travellers that too much alcohol can have the opposite effect, altering your sleep cycle and making jet lag even worse.

5. Not Packing Layers

It could be the height of Summer outside, but rest assured, it can still feel like the brink of Winter in the air. Amie O'Shaughnessy, founder and CEO of Ciao Bambino, advises dressing in layers to prepare for the uncertain climate. "In-flight temperatures are unpredictable, and there is nothing worse than being too hot or too cold for hours over the ocean. Wear and/or bring light layers that can be put on together for warmth or stripped off to adjust to the real-time conditions rather than clothing with no flexibility."

6. Forgetting to Hydrate

Hydrating before, during, and after a long flight is crucial; prolonged periods of time in a climate-controlled cabin will dehydrate you. To make matters even worse, fear of using the pint-size lavatories in the air can cause travellers to neglect H2O altogether. Drinking enough water will help with skin issues and inflammation, and as Dr. Ferrer points out, can prevent potential urinary tract infections.

7. Not Loosening Up

You might feel great now, but five hours in can be a totally different story. Brad Walker, director of education at StretchLab, encourages fliers to get their blood pumping before takeoff. "Get some gentle aerobic exercise before and after your flight - an easy walk around the block with a few deep-breathing exercises or a relaxing swim or bike ride are great ways to keep the blood flowing and loosen up any tight muscles or joints."

8. Neglecting Any Pain

If your muscles are particularly tight, sitting in the same cramped position for hours will typically only add to the discomfort. Dr. Tomshack advises travellers to "visit a chiropractor or massage therapist to help relax tight and painful muscles, improve range of motion in the joints, and enhance circulation. Doing this before a long flight also promotes meditation and mindfulness, allowing yourself to become centred before the hustle and bustle of travel takes over."

Rechtliche Informationen:
